Victorian Literature Was Written In The Victorian Era
Rain, rain everywhere and not a drop to drink. Well, still plenty of drinking has been going on, but the rain seems to have dampened down the majority of the idiocy of Ivies. Anyway, the most noise I've had to put up with have been the cover bands which have taken up residence in the Union, treating me to overloud renditions of Your Favorites from the Eighties, Nineties and Today But Mostly the Eighties while I'm trying to beat elves over the head with sticks.
Besides the rain, we've also been avoiding the dining halls all weekend. Last night I was at the pub while Matt ate sushi someplace else. Today for lunch/ breakfast we went into town to eat at Big Top, the local [awesome] deli. On the way we ran into Chrissy, and had a relaxing afternoon catching up, chatting and bumming around town. A quick look at our purchases at Goodwill show a good cross-section of our personalities. Chrissy bought a pair of halloween orange dress shoes and a checkerprint silk that looked to shout down the entire New Wave; Matt a new green print tie and a grungy polo shirt with a "Brunswick Parks and Recreation" logo. I just tried on suit jackets to find that none of them fit me.
Anyway, some Warcraft (any day wherein I find an arcane crystal is hereby a Good Day) and back for pizza, anime and hanging out with Matt.
In conclusion, it has been a very out of the ordinary and interesting weekend for the many reasons which I have explained above. The end.
